February 2006 We told you last month about possibly purchasing another vehicle, that being an ex-Premier Travel vehicle - well this is it. WEB 410T
On Saturday 3rd February 2006 a second meeting was arranged to inspect WEB 410T with a view to it joining our Yelloway at Blackburn. After much prodding and poking and a good run-up to check the air system and of course the engine, agreement was reached for us to purchase her. On closer inspection the vehicle looks in not too bad a condition, though needless to say, it's going to require a vast amount of work to return her to the condition we remember her when in service. For those that know, Premier & Yelloway were joint operators of several routes from the Mid 1960's to 1988. WEB 410T was the penultimate AEC that Premier bought arriving in Cambridge in February 1979.
