Almost ready for re-installing, the picture shows the culmination of many hours of hard work put into the refurbishment of the front running gear. All the components have been stripped, cleaned and fully serviced with many new parts and bolts replacing those which were life expired. Re-fitting will start as soon as the damaged spring hanger bracket comes back from the engineering company which is fitting a new steel collar to correct the egg shaped eye. This little collection is for the nearside and also shows the axle beam, track rod and radiator/fan assembly. Still required are two new wheel drums.
